GETING TO LUSHOTO(usambara mountains)

BY BUS:
The roads are excellant from all directions. The getway to the western usambara Mountains is
Mombo,on the plains:from there it is about 33 kms(21miles) to Lushoto. Mombo is on the Arusha-Tanga highway.Direct bus is availlable from Ubungo on Morogoro Road at the main upcountry bus station in Dar -es -Salam with several morning depertures per day. Direct servise is also available from Arusha or Maoshi and from Tanga. Many visitors takes a through bus either way between Dar -Es- Salam and Arusha or Moshi.There are dozens of small busses and vans that runs between Mombo and Lushoto each time a day .
